Oh thank you so much Amazing Verizon Galaxy Note 4. Then uninstall each of the bloatware apps to be rid of them. This kinda reminds me of how the laptops and OEM Desktop PCs (as in brand ones, HP, Vaio, etc.), come with software that in the end you never touch and is just there taking space. The solution is to turn off (disable) 'DT Ignite' and force stop it to prevent it from being able to re-install those bloatware apps again. In that way you think, well it must be needed for the phone to work correctly to make calls, sms, and all that stuff carrier related, but truth is that is just a bloatware thing. The thing here, is how they trick you naming the app Mobile Services. I disabled it which also uninstalled the newest update (v2.1.034.000-1056) returning it to the old 1.7 version, then I removed the permissiĆ³n the app had to access the phone. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 2016 model (Cricket) (I know this is for LG but I wanted to share my experience) last month, and I didn't noticed this MSM/DT-Ignite because it was a system app so it wasn't listed on the applications list unless you switched to see the system apps, but today I noticed it was on the normal apps list (as in the list with the apps you install from Google Play Store, Galaxy Apps, etc.), this because it got updated from version 1.7.302 to version 2.1.034.000-1056 and it was also using some of the phone's ram as well, around 3mb. ![]() Have others with the unlocked had this issue? Putting aside this issue, I really like the V20. I didn't expect this with the unlocked model. I'm guessing this is something that LG is allowing for the unlocked model, but who knows. Then follow the directions on the screen. Press and hold (or right-click) on the program you want to remove and select Uninstall or Uninstall / Change. My spouse's T-Mobile V20 variant does not currently have this MSM/DTI issue. In search on the taskbar, enter Control Panel and select it from the results. I don't want to have to deal with disabling this crap bloatware app over and over. To disable the Verizon App Manager and DT Ignite, you have to follow the below-given steps: First, go to Settings. But even after a simple power off/power on restart (not factory reset), MSM/DTI re-enabled some permissions all over again. On top of that, MSM/DTI app was draining battery super fast. Games like Caesars Palace Slots, Slotmania, Panda Pop and a few others preloaded right after the factory reset. This only happened AFTER my factory reset. ![]() After the factory reset, crap games pre-installed because of the horrible Mobile Services Manager/DT Ignite app. I purchased the Unlocked V20 from B&H, received it last week, and set it up with my T-Mobile sim without issue.
